Ordering and customization

How do I place an order?

Every Onyx Resin piece is made to order. To start, submit a quote with your dimensions, wood preference, and inspiration. Within 48 hours we'll send you an AI-rendered preview of your piece and a full quote. Once you approve the design, you reserve your spot with a one-third deposit and production begins.

Can I customize the dimensions of a piece?

Yes. Every piece you see on the site is one of many possibilities. We make to your dimensions, wood choice, resin color, and base style. Share what you have in mind and we'll design accordingly.

What wood options are available?

Walnut, olive, and poplar. Each slab is sourced individually, so the grain and color of your finished piece will be unique to it. See photos and details in our wood and resin guide.

What resin colors are available?

Any color you can imagine. Deep blues, emerald greens, blacks, reds, purples, ambers, or custom blends. Share a reference image or describe what you have in mind, and we'll match it. See the full palette in our wood and resin guide.

Can I see my piece before it's made?

Yes. After you submit your quote, we send you an AI-rendered preview of your piece based on your specifications. We refine the preview together until it's exactly what you want, then production begins.

Production and delivery

How long does production take?

Most pieces take between 3 and 8 weeks to complete after design approval, depending on size and complexity. Larger pieces or detailed designs may take longer. You receive photo updates at every stage.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. Every piece is delivered worldwide in a custom-built crate, fully insured for safe transit. Delivery is on us.

How is the piece packaged for shipping?

Every order is shipped in a custom-built wooden crate, sized to your specific piece. The top, base, and any hardware are packed separately within the crate for safe transit, and assembly is required upon delivery. The crate is fully insured. If you have any questions during assembly, contact us at hello@onyxresin.com and we'll walk you through it.

How does payment work?

Payment is split. You pay a one-third deposit when the design is approved, and the remaining balance before delivery.

Care and durability

How do I care for my piece?

Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive sponges. Keep the piece out of prolonged direct sunlight to prevent the resin from yellowing over time. Re-oil the exposed wood once a year with a food-safe finishing oil.

How should I protect the surface from heat?

Always use coasters and trivets under hot items, including mugs, teapots, pans, and kettles. Avoid placing hot surfaces in direct contact with the resin or the wood, as this can cause discoloration or damage over time.

Can the resin chip or scratch?

The resin is hard-wearing and built for daily use, but like any furniture surface it can scratch under sharp impact. Light scratches can usually be buffed out. For deeper damage, contact us and we'll talk you through options.

Returns and changes

Can I return my piece?

Because every piece is made to your specifications, we don't accept returns on custom orders. We work closely with you through the AI preview and refinement process to make sure the design is exactly what you want before production begins.

What if my piece arrives damaged?

Every order is fully insured during transit. If your piece arrives with any damage, contact us within 7 days with photos and we'll handle the claim and arrange a replacement or repair.

Can I change the design after production starts?

Small adjustments are sometimes possible early in production. Once the resin pour begins, the design is set. We work hard during the preview stage to make sure every detail is right before you approve.

Do you offer trade pricing for designers or businesses?

Yes. If you're an interior designer, architect, or business sourcing pieces for a project, contact us at hello@onyxresin.com for trade pricing and project terms.

Do you offer custom engravings?

Yes. We can engrave names, monograms, or brand marks on the wood edge of any piece. Mention it in your quote and we'll include it in your preview.

The business is registered as Onyx Home & Design LLC in Wyoming, USA. Our workshop is in Istanbul, Türkiye. We ship worldwide.
