How It Works
Every Onyx Resin piece is made to order. Here is the full journey, from your first message to the moment your finished piece arrives at your door.
01. Tell us your vision
Submit a quote with your dimensions, style, and inspiration. Share a reference image, a description, or just the rough idea. We take it from there.
02. See it before it is built
Before any wood is cut, you see what your piece will look like. When your design is close to pieces we have made, we share real photos of our past work, so you see it in wood and resin, not just an idea. For a design unlike anything we have made before, we create an AI-rendered preview. Either way, we refine it together until it is exactly what you want.
03. Choose your base
Along with your wood, resin, and dimensions, you choose the base that finishes your piece, from our range of steel leg designs, or a fully custom base designed for your space. This completes your design, so your quote reflects exactly what you are getting.
04. Approve and reserve
Once the design and final quote are right, you confirm and reserve your place in production with a one-third deposit. Production typically begins within a week.
05. Choosing your wood
We select the slab for your piece and send you a photo of the actual wood in your dimensions. If it is not quite the one, we send another, until you love the wood your piece begins with.
06. Shaping the slab
The slab is cleaned, leveled, and set into a custom mold, prepared and ready for the resin.
07. The pour
Your chosen resin color is hand-poured and left to cure, layer by layer. This is the stage that gives the surface its depth.
08. With you at every step
Throughout production, a member of our team shares photos and video, so you watch your piece take shape in real time. Nothing moves forward without your knowledge and approval.
09. Finishing and delivery
We attach your chosen base and hand-polish the piece to a smooth, finished surface. Then we pack it in a custom-built crate, insured for safe delivery, and bring it to your door. Delivery is on us.
10. Enjoy it for years to come
Your piece arrives ready for the room you imagined. With everyday care, it stays beautiful for years to come.
